Scope of Dietician Profession:

A registered Dietician is a health-care professional who has acquired proper training approved by the British Dietetics Association (BDA) and has passed a national examination. Dietician’s mission comprises of preparation of nutrition programs, the endorsement of healthy nutrition and dietary suggestions, alteration of the treatment or avoidance of disease. Dieticians and nutritionists prepare food and nutrition programs, administer meal preparation and examine of food served. They avert and treat illnesses by promoting healthy eating habits and recommend dietary changes. Dieticians administer systems of food for institutions like hospitals and schools; support sound nutrition through education and research. A lot of dieticians concentrate on becoming a clinical Dietician, community Dietician, management Dietician, or consultant. The term nutritionist is frequently utilized on equal terms with the Dietician, but they do not mean the same thing.
