Invigilator is a person who performs the monitoring function to check and prevent cheating and other unethical practices during examinations. An Invigilator manages exams and makes sure that a peaceful and conducive environment is provided to students during their examinations. An Invigilator’s key duties include surveying and identifying location for office equipment, performing a physical check of candidates and ensuring that no candidate utilizes unfair means or tools during the exam. Performing surprise checks at examination halls to ensure that students are taking their exams in a fair manner.
