Scope of Professor Profession:

College professors systematise and carry out the functions of higher education. They participate in various activities, launching experimental and control post-graduate studies for major Undergraduate lectures and writing books. With the exclusion of planned classes, which can take only three hours a week for graduates or up to twelve to sixteen hours a week for the students of professor in the basic costs of research, preparation of class materials, meeting with students, or else it chooses. This profession is thus best suited to motivated self-starters, as well as its highest award given to those who can identify and explore the unique challenges in their fields. The path to becoming a college professor is difficult. While a master's degree may be enough to qualify to teach in two-year College, doctoral degree is necessary to teach in four-year colleges and universities. PHD usually takes from four to seven years to complete, after the completion of two to three years in the course of work, graduate student will learn, as a rule, classes and write the dissertation, an original piece of research about three years to complete which is the most important element in finding the first job as a professor.
