DNP Program: Doctor of Nursing (DNP) program focus on the application of theory and research rather than on the development of new theory. As DNP program focuses more on application of theory, it has more practical application in corporate world than the PhD program.

PhD Program: PhD program students work on highly specialized scholarly research topic and focus on the development of new theory & research.
